Support a Child

The Childrens` Show (- all) the way!

Mr. Job & Mr.Mussalaiah

Hyderabad, Feb. 23. Rising above their routine activities of surviving the day, the children of one of the hamlets of Rangayapalem (a Panchayat in the Kothapatnam Mandal of the Prakasam district in Andhra Pradesh) showed the way to the elders in living a decent life. In a role-reversal, the parents now look up to their children for living a dignified life. Small deeds but great indeed! Guiding the path of these tiny trots for a brighter future is the novel concept of Childrens` Parliament.

Of fists and guts... from a teacher`s heart

by Mr. Job & Mr. Chandraraj

Hyderabad Feb. 21The Relly community may be the lowest group in the caste-based social ladder of Andhra Pradesh. The untouchable scheduled caste community members exclude the Rellis. This may be due to the traditional manual scavenging* occupation, this community is known for. Today they are employed by the municipality to sweep/clean roads and clean public toilets.

Empower to profit through Tailoring centres

By Fr. Thankachan SDB

Hyderabad, Feb. 18 As we celebrate the 60th Republic day of our country it was indeed a happy coincidence for us at Wyra because we feel that we are collaborating and trying to empower the women of our area. Keeping to the ideals of our Country we at Bosco Seva Kendra (BSK), Wyra are at the service of the empowerment of women. Recently BSK arranged three tailoring centers for women.
