Ravali’s father passed away when she was only six. The only daughter had to suffer poverty, as her mother could only manage to raise her with basic food and clothing. She had not inclination towards studies, and used to join her mother in making beedies (tobacco rolls) for many years. Later she joined an outlet of bangles, from where she was rescued.
Now Ravali, 17 years old, has completed her basic education (open 10th). With the help of CWC, she is learning tailoring at LAST (Livelihood Advancement Training) programme. Being a keen learner, she is getting trained in production center too. Credit goes to the team for convincing mother/few relatives for them bring out from the clutches of tradition.
