BOSCO SEVA KENDRA (BSK) is the Development office of the Salesian Province of St.Joseph, Hyderabad ( INH ), launched in 1993. BSK is a non-profit, non-political and non-religious body registered under the Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Areas) Public Societies Registration Act, 1350 Fasli (Act 1 of 1350F) and is committed to the integral and holistic development of people and rooted in the charism of Don Bosco in the church and society.
BSK commenced services in the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh in 1964 at Guntur with a technical school and press. Today we have 30 institutions rendering services throughout Andhra Pradesh, Telangana State and South Odisha.
is the motto of BSK, aimed at working with professional competence and collaboration with public and private donor agencies, trusts and foundations, to provide logistic and professional support to various development initiatives of Don Bosco Institutions and offices in its region.
For the past 23 years BSK has implemented several developmental programmes for the benefit of the most disadvantaged children and youth through different Salesian communities. BSK also organizes women into collectives empowering them to build a better life for themselves and for their families. BSK thus hopes to contribute towards sustainable change in society – one step at a time.
